Waiting to get into Country Thunder because the sheriffs closed the entrance due to an “incident”
Most people are digging into their coolers already. So far we’ve been waiting a half hour.
Saw this nicely built Jeep in the lane over
What’s going on with oppo?
And the road leading in

Making an oversized steak for dinner. It’s gonna be great.
Remember to not park in a low spot.

It was the greatest steak I've ever made. And good luck.

There is a “block party” outside my house that appears to be some older folks sitting in a circle in the cul-de-sac that I don’t really feel like going to. So I’m stuck inside. Might head out there later...

Reminds me of the time some friends and I drove back from Vancouver to Calgary the day after a Canada Day weekend. There was some sort of fatal accident involving an RV. The TransCanada Highway was totally shut down. One direction was totally stopped while the other incoming lanes were totally empty. Had we had a football, we totally could have tossed it around in the empty lanes. I think it took us 3 hours to go 15 km.
